Slow Cookin'

I decided something today...
I really love the charming door on my chicken coop.
I couldn't help but think of my darling bishop who constructed it for me.
He appreciates my eye for detail.

{King found the moon}

Edwin was at scout camp last week. I always miss him.
The kids and I enjoyed listening to his stories from the outing.

This year they started a forest fire that luckily only burned 2 acres.
Had to explain to Salt Lake via phone.
Ran into a rock with the boat and cursed profusely which loudly echoed
down the canyon full of young men.
We will be expecting him to be released soon.

The stake president spoke at the fireside
on the importance of valuing women and their role as mothers.
They are to provide an environment where women are able to be mothers in the home and develop their God given abilities. Edwin shared with us his overwhelming belief in this.
Providing for our family has always been very important to him.
I love that.
