I love waking up in Pine.
Feeling the cool fresh air on my body before I even open my eyes is magical.
I heard the sound of my children cooking breakfast with Old Man in the kitchen and discussing their plans to hike to Milk Ranch Point.
Then I got a whiff of the Vienna sausage "woof!"
Kingston was dubbed "Hike Leader."
We packed a picnic and headed up the mountain.
The children were good little troopers. It took us about an hour to reach the top.
The view of Pine was beautiful.
On the way down we stopped by the local creamery for a cone of homemade goodness.
We deserved it.
