Today Edwin phoned me. Early. Six O'Clock A.M.
I believe I even muttered "Who wakes up this early"
He knows I hate it but he likes to get me riled up.
He had a surprise for me.I love surprises.
He said someone very special is coming at 3:00 to watch the children.
Someone who loves them very much and who has missed them dearly while off at college.

Did my midweek break down alarm Mr. Patterson.
Possibly I whined too much about my melted lipstick that I went through
"H E double hockey stick and high water" to retrieve.
I then remembered that I was leaving and would miss our date night.

On the way home I whispered "You better kiss me 'cause your gunna miss me when I'm gone."
He smiled and pushed play on my IPhone.
It was the same song I just sang to him.
He had downloaded it ten minutes prior.
We truly are soul mates.
